The beauty of the canyon has been a draw for Amarilloans for years and now, as a result, two beautiful developments have emerged along the canyon rims adjacent to Lake Tanglewood.
Homeowners from The Canyons and River Falls developments enjoy the views of the canyon from their homes, and River Falls residents enjoy the Refuge of River Falls, a private protected area which contains a portion of the canyon.
Other new homes have recently been built on other sites along the canyon rim and more homes or other public offerings are planned in the future by landowners.
Several of these homes and properties, all up and down the canyon, will have a direct view of the proposed transmission line routes.
